Piero Mella  Full Professor of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics Department of Business Research, University of Pavia, Italy

Born in Pavia in 1946. Since 1985 he is a full professor in Business Economics and Administration at the Faculty of Economics at Pavia University, Italy. From 1987-88 to 1992-93 he was Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pavia.  In 1997 he became coordinator of the Doctorate in Business Research at the University of Pavia. In 2000 he created the scientific web site www.ea2000.it.

His research interests involve the fields of Complex and Holonic Systems and of Networks.

In 1997 he formulated the Combinatory System Theory.
