Mirela Panait since 2021 is  scientific researcher at the Institute of National Economy and PhD advisor at the doctoral school of the Romanian Academy. Regarding research results, these are represented by publishing seven books and over 100 scientific papers in the fields of interest: sustainable development, CSR, energy transition and international finance. On the editorial level, her activity is intense, being associate editor, guest editor or reviewer for prestigious journals within Springer, Elsevier, Emerald, Wiley, IGI Global groups.
